COMPETITION AT MISSION KITCHEN
30th September 2023
In Easter 2023 we were contacted by the owner of Three Strand Cord. We were asked if Fabio's Kitchen would take part in a competition. The event would entail us to cook for a room of singletons who would then judge the meals that they tried and vote for their favourite Chef at the end. On the day we arrived at Mission Kitchen in New Covent Garden Market. The surroundings were a little different to what you would expect, but when entering the kitchens you were blown away with the space and what was to offer. It was a chefs dream day out. We had our own section of a beautiful kitchen offering mostly every piece of equiptment that you would want to use. The bonus of this kitchen was not only that the guests were abole to experience meals from 2 incredible chefs but they were also able to watch the event unfold before their eyes with just a glass wall seperating the guests from the kitchen. We served a main, starter and dessert and at the end the results were read aloud to the guests..... and guess what..... We did it! We were delighted to have been chosen for FIRST PLACE at such fantastic event!
