Earlier Life
Fabio was born in Lisbon in 1986 and this is where he spent his younger years growing up. Fabio had a great family unit and often spent many evenings around a large dining table sharing stoies and incredible foods. He loved to help his Grandmother and his mother creating dishes full of fresh and hearty flavours.
Just call me Chef
Fabio's cheffing journey started back in 2004, his enthusiasm shone through. He was lucky enough to spend some great oppertunities training with some incredible chefs including a week training in italy. In 2011 Fabio had the pleasure of meeting Famous chef Michel Roux who is still a big insperation for fabio today, and in 2013 Fabio took part in the LexChef finals, alongside some other incredible chefs.
For the past 20 years Fabio has been delving into flavours from his home country, Sao Tome Principe, the UK and so much more. Fabio is constantly wanting to learn new things which enables him to modernise traditional dishes, Exploring fusions and perfecting techniques.
Where we are today
Fabio's Kitchen has grown from strength to strength over the past 5 years. Putting all of his knowledge into one pot Fabio now offers services to cover all areas of catering. Whether your looking for a Buffet, Canapes or your Wedding Breakfast, his got you covered.
Fabio is based in Thurrock, Essex however he is more than happy to travel to deliver his expertise to you.
Fabio is used to managing a high pressure environment and works with strict deadlines. Fabio is extremely meticulous, he works great with his team and he believes that all dishes are truly multi- sensory;
made for the eyes,
the mouth,
the nose,
the ear,
and the soul.
